As long as you keep the wick trimmed, we recommend burning our 6oz candles for around 4-5 hours at a time, which should last about 30 hours. The 9oz candles should last about 50 hours.

This is common instructions and good practices for any candle, meant to prolong its burn time. A longer wick creates a larger flame; a larger flame melts the wax faster; and the wax melts faster than the wick burns away. So the longer your candle burns, the larger the flame gets, causing your candle to melt faster and faster. However, you can slow down how fast it melts by keeping wicks trimmed and burning for a short period of time (4-5 hours at a time). This will increase the longevity of your candles meaning they’ll last longer.

When burning a candle for 4-5 hours, the wax melts all the way to the edge of the container. The melted wax from the flame gives off your candle’s scent(not the flame), so this will maximize your fragrance when lit. It also prevents candles from tunneling, or burning a hole down the centre of the candle while leaving a ring of unburned wax around it.

We make every effort to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Most orders placed before 12pm EST Monday-Friday will go out same day. Orders placed after 12pm or on weekends will go out the next business day.

Currently, all orders (excluding special or bulk orders) are shipped from New Jersey via USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx. You will receive a tracking number for your order when it is fulfilled.

By default, our packages do not require a signature.

While paraffin wax is refined from crude oil, soy wax is made from soybeans- a renewable resource grown here in the US. Compared to paraffin, soy wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot. Soy wax also burns slower than paraffin, so soy wax candles last longer.
